Republic day celebration activity

Republic day

Although India obtained it's independence on August 15,1947, the Constitution of India came into effect only on January 26, 1950 and India declared itself as a Sovereign Democratic Republic on this day.

The Constitution Assembly with Dr. B.R Ambedkar as its chairperson, drafted the Constitution. He is also known as the father of the Indian Constitution which is the longest Constitution of any Sovereign nation in the world. It provides for a single citizenship for the whole of  India. Every citizen is entitled to the rights and privileges enshrined in the Constitution. However, rights and duties must go hand in hand and these are also laid down in our Constitution.

Wishing everyone a Happy Republic Day.

      Spelling Check Activity

Spelling Helps Reading. Learning to spell helps to cement the connection between the letters and their sounds, and learning high-frequency “sight words” to mastery level improves both reading and writing

Spelling forces the brain to synthesize its knowledge of a word—to reconcile how the word sounds, how it looks, and how it employs the rules and idiosyncrasies of our language. In an endeavour to facilitate the interest of students in word formation ,The Shikshiyan School organised Chain Spelling Activity in which students showcased their creativity enthusiastically.
