At The Shikshiyan School, the safety and well-being of every student is an essential part of our school culture. We follow a range of preventive, supervisory and security measures designed to create a safe and secure campus for students and staff.
Everyday Safety Measures
- Regular inspection of electrical panels, fittings and essential infrastructure.
- Students who miss their school transport remain safely at the school office until their parent/guardian is contacted.
- Visitors are recorded at the entry point and issued visitor passes.
- Students up to Class V move around the campus under appropriate supervision and in pairs where required.
- Restricted areas, including the school roof, remain secured and access-controlled.
- Support staff are stationed near designated student areas for supervision.
- Parents are informed about student absence through the school's communication system.
- At the end of the school day, classrooms, washrooms and play areas are checked to ensure that no student remains unattended.
Safe & Secure Transport
School-owned buses are equipped with CCTV surveillance, and transportation is monitored by the designated Transport In-charge to support safe student movement.
Campus Surveillance & Fire Safety
- CCTV cameras are installed at key locations across the school campus.
- Fire extinguishers are placed at designated points.
- Staff members receive training and guidance on the appropriate use of fire-safety equipment.
- Safety systems and essential facilities are reviewed periodically.
Staff Verification & Child Protection
Student safety begins with responsible adults. Appropriate verification procedures are followed for support staff, while staff sensitisation and compliance measures are undertaken in accordance with applicable guidelines.
