WORLD BOOK DAY

World Book Day, celebrated annually on April 23rd, is a global event dedicated to promoting reading, publishing, and copyright. The Shikshiyan School celebrated World Book Day with great enthusiasm by organizing a book fair in school premises. The aim was to foster a love for reading, encourage literacy, and provide students with access to a diverse range of books.
The school premises were transformed into a vibrant book fair venue, with booths and stalls set up to showcase a wide selection of books for students of all ages. Books covering various genres, including fiction, non-fiction, literature, poetry, sciences and history were prominently displayed.
By organizing a book fair and associated activities, we aimed to nurture a culture of reading and lifelong learning among students, fostering their intellectual growth and personal development.

WORLD HERITAGE DAY

World Heritage Day, celebrated annually on April 18th, serves as a global observance to raise awareness about the importance of cultural heritage and the need for its preservation. This year, The Shikshiyan School commemorated World Heritage Day with a series of engaging activities like Poster Making, Slogan Writing, Brochure Making, Debate, Quiz, Virtual Tour etc. aimed at promoting cultural diversity, heritage conservation, and heritage education among students.

By commemorating this important day, we reaffirmed our commitment to preserving and promoting our shared cultural heritage for the benefit of present and future generations.

World Health Day, observed on April 7th every year, serves as an opportunity to raise awareness about global health issues and promote healthy living habits. This year, The Shikshiyan School celebrated World Health Day with enthusiasm and a variety of engaging activities aimed at promoting health and well-being among students. The celebration of World Health Day was a resounding success, with students, teachers, and the wider school community coming together to promote health and well-being in a fun and engaging manner. By raising awareness about important health issues and encouraging positive lifestyle choices, we take a significant step towards building a healthier world for all.

FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL

New Session, New Beginnings- The Bell of The Shikshiyan School, Gurugram sounded joyfully to welcome pupils back for the 2024-25 academic year. After a fortnight, the campus was once again alive with the bubbling and chirpy sounds of the students. To begin with, something new is always exciting, and the students' first day was no exception, as teachers not only welcomed them with open arms but also planned a grand day for them.
