ELAN 2021

This year the School Award Ceremony, ELAN 2021, was organised virtually on 30th October, 2021.

The programme was inaugurated with invocation to Goddess Saraswati thorugh lamp lighting

ceremony by Principal, Ms. Geeta Dagar, and Ganesh Vandana.

Accolades were showered on students who received awards for their general proficiency in

different levels of academics. Students who have excelled in all areas of curricular and co curricular

activities and are looked upon as role models by peers were awarded with Best All Rounder

certificates whereas the students who had patiently and diligently worked hard throughout the

academic session to emerge as shining stars received application prize certificates.

To add a tint of cultural hue, junior students of our school danced on the stage spreading the

message of love, peace and happiness.

The felicitation ceremony was addressed by Vice Principal, Ms. Preeti Dagar, and reached its

culmination with nostalgic words of our most cherished alumni.

To encapsulate, the event was a grand success as the parents enjoyed the show at the safety of their realm.

Show & Tell competition

It feels great in the summer season when we are walking on clear sunny noon with the Sun directly above our head, and suddenly we see a large tree nearby. We don't want to miss the opportunity to take rest under it. Trees benefit us in many ways. Do you know that every large tree was a tiny plant some years ago?

Dussehra Celebration

Dussehra is an important festival in India that lasts for nine nights and ten days. ... This festival celebrates good triumphing over evil. The most popular reason for commemorating is the defeat of Ravana of Lanka by Rama. According to the story of Ramayana, Rama is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the Preserver. The Shikshiyan school celebrated Dussehra on 13th October,2021.

Airforce Day

Every year the Airforce Day is celebrated on 8th October all over India as on this day,the Air force in India was officially raised as the supporting force of the Royal Air Force.To celebrate the glory of Indian Airforce,The Shikshiyan School organized various activities like poster making on Indian Air Force ,Badge making and Declamation on the role of Indian Airforce .All the students participated with full vigour in all the activities.

GANDHI JAYANTI

“Strength does not come from physical capacity,

It comes from an indomitable will" - Mahatama Gandhi.

Mahatma Gandhi is known as the 'Father of the Nation' due to his massive role in India's freedom struggle. Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated in India to mark the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi ‘The Father of the Nation’. It is celebrated annually on 2nd October. Therefore to pay tributes to him on his birth anniversary, The Shikshiyan School organised various activities like : Three Stick Monkeys,  Gandhi ji's Spectacles, Dressing up like Mahatma Gandhi, Charkha Making and dance, poems and short speeches.                                                                     All the students participated with vigour and feeling of nationalism.
