The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2023-24 was held on 28th July. The ceremony commenced with the Lighting of the lamp by respected Principal Ma'am followed by a song - "With a Smile on your Face" and a dance. The welcome speech was followed by Chairman's motivational speech. The badges were handed over to the Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captain and House prefects. The Principal congratulated the newly elected council members and encouraged them to perform their duties with great dignity and enthusiasm. The programme ended with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem.

The Tiny Tots of Nursery and Prep were taken to Mohan Fresh Super Market to make them understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy foods.

It was a first-hand experience wherein they learnt about the food articles and their nutritional values.

Pronouns help us identify and communicate with our fellow mates.

Students of Class III were educated on Pronouns with the help of the ‘Lock and Key' activity wherein they were asked to place a particular name containing a key to their respective pronoun containing lock.

The students were well-versed in their usage of pronouns post the activity.

The little champs of Nursery and Prep were introduced to shapes through an activity on Identifying and Matching similar shapes.

It was a fun and educative recreation for these students.

“You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy Ice-cream and that’s almost the same thing”

Summer season can be personified as everyone’s never-ending love for ice cream. The season was marked at The Shikshiyan School by celebrating Ice-Cream Day on Friday 14th July 2023. Students of Classes Nursery & Prep were served ice cream in school and were given a chance to top their ice cream as per the toppings of their choice. The children enjoyed the opportunity to garnish their ice-creams with colourful sprinkles and pour syrup of their choice, to raise the taste quotient of their favourite dessert exponentially. They also got them clicked in the ice cream cone. The day was full of excitement, zeal and everything pertaining to the yummy sugary treat.

Yellow is the color of sunshine, happiness and all things bright. The tiny tots of Nursery and Prep were introduced to this wonderful colour by celebrating ‘Yellow Day’. They came dressed up in yellow attire and ate yellow-coloured food for their lunch. They were also given yellow-coloured objects to identify and relate.

It was a warm and wholesome experience for these little wonders.

To celebrate and relish the season of the king of fruits “Mango”, The Shikshiyan School organised a Mango Party for the little ones. The aim of organizing this activity was to impart information related to mangoes. Teachers displayed different types of mangoes such as Dussehri, Chausa, Langda, etc., and told the kids the benefits of having mangoes such as they fight cancer, regulate diabetes, help in digestion, etc. Children of classes Nursery & Prep wore beautiful handmade crowns of mango and handmade puppets of mango to highlight the day. They also recited rhymes on mango on this occasion. Later on, they relished mangoes which they had brought as their special tiffin. The children thoroughly enjoyed the party and will remember it for a long time to come. Overall, it was a memorable day for them.
