On this joyous occasion of our great nation’s 77th Independence Day, our students came together to celebrate and honour the sacrifices made for this sweet taste of freedom.
The day commenced with hoisting of the flag and a thunderous recitation of the National anthem.
The celebrations included group song sung by students of class VIII-IX; Poems of great patriotism recited by students and a Skit performed by students of class XI humanities on British Rule. The program peaked with a colourful Dance performance on Vande Mataram by students of class VIII-IX.
The Chairman delivered an enthralling and inspiring speech.
The event ended with a vote of thanks. A sense of patriotic pride was fairly visible on the faces of one and all present.
